The world’s most widely read Bangla web portal Prothom Alo on Sunday launched its English portal.
Prothom Alo English portal has begun its journey with a mission to reach the English readers at home and abroad.
Currently, Prothom Alo Bangla newspaper is being read online by people in 212 countries and regions of the world.

formally launched the Prothom Alo English portal, at a function in a
Dhaka hotel on Sunday evening.
“Many in the young generation want to read news in English language.
Also, the second generations of the Bangladeshi Diaspora want to know
about the country while they are comfortable in English. So, Prothom Alo
English has the scope to reach all of them,” he said defining the
context of the English portal of the Bangla newspaper.
